Well driving home last night truck made a clunk in the rear end . So got up this morning went to drive to get fuel and it sounded like a flat :dunno:. My friends shop is just around the corner from the home as I was pulling into his shop the rear locked up . I was able to back it up and then it moved forward enough to get it over to his building He is the guru of gears so he will look at it today. Have my fingers crossed
I had that happen to me on an old chevy. I busted the spider gears in into several pieces & took out the posi unit, but it had something to do with a high rev'ing engine & dropping the clutch. It can't afford to drive like that anymore. Good luck with your repairs.
Well the Wife said you wanted stuff for your truck for Christmas.:hehe: So I am getting a Truetrac unit. It seems the the factory LS decideded it no longer wanted to be together and came out in several chunks. Well at least better to happen at home than on the road
