gettin 12.5 at idle, battery light not on, but i think my batteries are not getting charged.....i get 13.2-4 at 2,000 - 2500 rpms, if i mash her to 3k i get 13.5-8, but IIRC, i should be getting 13.5-13.8 at idle right? I don't know what I should be getting at idle, but I think im looking at a new alternater.....correct?

she spins like a rizzaped izzape......when the batteries aren't dead....but i've got a fairly new starter........i think 12.5 volts at idle or 12.8-13.0 that i get at my normal driving speeds around town just aren't charging the batteries.....seems lkike it's enough to keep the truck going and battery light off, but not enough to keep them charged....

Hey guys. Hate to say it but yes you need above 13v to keep your batteries charged. 13.4-13.8 should be about the normal.
