    I'm in Australia and 6.0's aren't very common here as they are big dollars to buy
    So getting anything done is a battle
    It's an 05 with 100k miles on the clock
    I have a machine shop that I trust and has done work for me before
    It appears the heads have been machined before as they read .008 under stock
    Valve recession is at .018
    Valve tip height is 2.220 exh and 2.250 inlet
    As far as I can work out tip height should be 2.220 -2.225 on both Correct?
    We crack tested and there are no cracks

    What I am aiming for is to get recession at .030
    Tip height at 2.220
    And lifter preload around .040

    Any thoughts would be appreciated
    He'll if I'm off the mark tell me I only want to do this once

    Hi Jared,
    I am looking for a set of heads for a 6.0 that will be dependable and last. I read your posts about the proper head prep and I would like to have a set of heads done this way with hardened seats and now guides and valves.

    hello just wondering if you could answer my question will a 05 6.0l head fit on a 07 motor . ,my 07 has the 20mm dowel pinn and the 05 has the 18mm dowel can it be done?

    Warrens, I think they're like 12-1300 bucks, 500 or so of that is nozzles.
