+1 with Chuck, make sure the harness is still connected first. Not sure If it was Ford or International that make a wedge to prevent the clips from coming appart.
It is an 94 OBS. I didnt pull the connections loose to check and see if it was burnt or not, but I will check it. It first started to sound like it had a miss but the sound would kind of change a little bit for time to time. Then last night he called and said the it sounded and ran like it had just dropped to 4 cylinders and the check engine light came on. He cycled the key and it it ran fine. The harness is what I figured because my 96 would do the same thing until it completely fried the connection.
Dorman makes a complete kit, comes with valve cover gaskets, wire harness for under valve cover and pig tails to splice into your engine harness if needed. Had to do this on my 94. was like $175 for both sides. Got them from napa.
