They are Ford Shocks painted white, stickered with a Rancho sticker and have a red plastic boot on them. Not the real deal. I think in the documentation, they say that they are rancho branded shocks.
There are only a handful of actual shock manufacturers. Monroe and Gabriel make the majority of the ones you commonly see. They just build them to the specs the brand name company wants. IE valving, type of charge, piston size, shaft size, etc. So unless it says Bilstein, Kayaba, KYB, or Doetsch Tech on the bottom of them, they are most likely just everyday Monroes. I can't find it now but I once read a table that had almost every brand shock out there and who actually made it. Some brands also had different manufacturers for their shocks depending on whether it was their high or low end shocks. I was shocked to find this out.:funny:
