i have a 2004 6.0L and i have had a ficm low suplyvoltage code for a while now i was ust wondering if there is a way to test the voltage and where if there is. Or maybe if there is common things that cause this problem or if my ficm is dieing..... thanks mike.
m-chan 68 had an exellent posting listing the FICM voltages but I can;t seem to find it at the moment. Initial supply voltage is vechile sysstem voltage 12vlt basicaly.
If your not getting that I would suspect corrision or a wire chafed and just a couple of strands touching ground or another circuit drawing away some of the voltage.
need a minum of 42 volts to fire off the ficm module . 10.5 volts into the ficm is required .
inless you have a decent scan too it monitor pid data it's hard to verifie .
