How is it that I havent seen anyone on here running the SCT Live Wire? I mean custom tunes and all that? Anybody have any ideas? I didnt even know the live wire would work on a 7.3

I just put one on my 7.3 with a tune from Innovative diesel and I love it but the display is acting all weird in the cold so im calling SCT in the morning to see what they are gonna do about it.

its prolly just cause TS and TW and those companys have such good names... give it time... maybe we will start to see a change. and super60.... get ya some gauges and put the livewire in the glovebox... mine acts a little weird too but its sooooo big that it gets annoying anyway...

Im not putting a $600 tuner away cuz it acts "weird" Its on it way back to SCT to get repaired. If its not fixed then its goin back for a refund.

ok here is my take on it.... with a 7.3L we have the option of having a shift on the fly chip where the 6.0L guys dont.... so the reason not a whole lot of people buy a livewire or SCT for a 7.3L is because a chip is just more convenient...

Erics tunes for the 7.3L are really good... oh and from the research and trials i have done on the 7.3L the digital read outs on the OBD 2 are not accurate... tried them with my analog gauges and they always read about 20degrees different

Well I havent gotten a chance to play with mine. Had it installed while I have been in Iraq. So you cant change tunes on the fly? I have it on my 6L. If it doesnt then that sucks a$$. I guess I should read up on it more. It seemed like the best tuner to run on the 6.0.
