yesterday mourning my rear doors would not open, tried the window safety switch a couple of times, but still no open. then i drive down the road and the doors opened, not all the way just unlatched. my rear electric door locks have not worked since i got it, i have to manually lock the doors. does this fit in the same category? any help please.

Check the switch couldnt hurt. Have you check the fuses? I have a book with all the fuses in it, cant get to it now as im in flag, but i can check it next week when im home if you dont get it sorted out by then. So check some fuses :)

ok thanks, tried checking fuses, but the wife was in a hurry and told me to worry about it later. doors are opening now but i'm sure it will do it again.i did cheak the fuses a while back under the dash, and all checked good.(for the door locks)they still don't work.

if its working off and on, its not a bad fuse. Probably a connection somewhere.

Is the issue the windows not rolling down? or the door jumpers arent working?
What years your truck? If its a 6.0 and you just had headstuds done they could have missed some connections reinstalling the cab (or they just arent fully clipped)

And how cold is it where your living now?
Few weeks back my rear windows froze shut lol.

is it just the door latches them selves needing some WD-40?
