I ended up buying a 12,000 lb fifth wheel and have been working thru the towing issue with that so I still have not leveled it. Now with the added weight, I may do a helper spring in the back and then level the front. I have an idea that the axel shift is between 1/16" and 1/8"...If I spend $3000 on tires and springs...I will probably spend an extra $300 and do a carli adjustable track bar too.

Hey man, sorry to ask, I saw you were installing a 2 inch leveling kit and everyone was telling you to get an adj track bar, shims, etc. I did one on my F150 about 6 years ago and it was a hat top like you are talking about and never did any of this. I got an alignment a few months later that was it.
If you did install it, did you get any of the other things or do anything to ensure the axle shift was ok? In my mine and going with what you said, I do not see how simply changing the spring mounting point is going to shift an axle on the truck. And if it does, it's going to be very minimal at best. Like I said when I did my F150 I can't even gurantee I got an alignment, and if I did it wasn't right away I know that.

Thanks for any feedback on your experience.
