oh by the way, no contribution codes (i got 2 egr related, and a fan one)... and i did an injector disable test using a real scan tool... and every cylinder sounded exacly the same!

hey how it goes.. mind if i bounce some thoughts on you?
I just picked up a 03 6.0, first thing the tstat was stuck open, fan was sitting at bottom of schroud, egr valve was sutch open and turbo was barely pushing 5psi of boost... so i fixed all that, unjamed egr valve, unplugged it and ordered a egr delete + oil cooler...

but now in the mean while i am loosing heat at idle, and loosing coolant slowly... but only smoke i got was on startup when its cold for about 5min... but its like -10c here right now...

so this is what am bouncing off you, any chance it might just been a cracked egr tube, and backpressure at idle is causing air to enter coolant system at idle?
