I have the early run 6.0.Can anyone give me the location of the ICP sensor.I have a major oil leak and this is where we think its coming from hopefully and its not on the valve covers like later models. Thanks alot.

I think it is on the back side (against firewall) of the drivers side head.

If ya dont have one its not a big deal. It just makes it easier to see back there and pin point leaks.

That sounds more like plugs or or something fell out of the truck.

Its must be something like that because that is a lot of oil to be loosing.

I just pulled enough stuff off the fron side of motor to see and came to the conclusion the oil from the front is running down the valley from the back of the motor since there is none pooled up on the front and all the leakage is still from the back.
I did notice alot of oil pooled directly under the turbo in the valley.I know I am being a pain but I am stranded at home and unless I can figure it out I cant even get the parts. Guess I'm just gonna have it towed to a diesel place in the morning.

Keep an eye on the EGTs. you wont have filtered air going in to the truck. See if the turbo pedestal is whats leaking.

I looked at the bottom of the turbo and saw nothing, its clean as a whistle from what I can see.All the oil from wherever its coming is down the drivers side valley, theres minimal on the passenger side if any.Its running out the valley at the back and going down the passenger side.I am not sure but from what I read it the ICP or something on the very back of the motor. Thanks for all the help and ideas.I can find anything without tearing even more apart and dont know if that would be right.Just gonna tow it to a shop on Monday,Yahh!

If its running down the valley from front to back then I dont think its the ICP, I think its the HPOP!
