Just bought a 2000 F350 super cab with the bench seat. Hate it. No side support and I feel like I'm falling off. I want captain's chairs. Will the stock captains' seats fit?
yes the holes are there it wont be an issue.... the nuts however are not... you will have to tack weld some into place or have someone lay under the truck while you tighten them... none the less, yes they will work... I just did this on a truck
But anyways I was in the same boat as you a few weeks ago. Couldn't STAND how uncomfortable the benches are. Now, I love them. I was going to put captains chairs in the truck, but then I got thinking about how much I LOVE being able to transport 6 people right now. So i'm getting some badass mossey oak style seat covers and having them professionally sewn on so they are tight and stock looking.
The stock anchor bolts will self tap the boss. The hole are not their but their are boss's that you drill from the bottom up and use the stock anchor bolts to tap the holes. I went the opposite way and went to the 40/20/40 seat from buckets(i already sold the whole interior before those questions come pouring in)
