Truck just died all of a sudden finally after about 20 min got it goin wnet about 3 miles and dead again. Just the CPS or think more?

p0340 and p0344 cam sensor codes ,replace cam sensor ,clear system and drive , p0733 is trans incoreect gar ratio code ,may have slipped sometime or another , i would clear system ,drive a few drive cycles and retest , the rest may not come back, if p0478 comes back its an ebp code ,clean tube going to right side manifold ,may be clogged

I've had camshaft/crankshaft light and my son replaced the sensor, and about a month later it comes on several times a week, so I turn it off. The truck runs just fine even before we changed out the International sensor part #1825899c93. Perhaps the part is unnessessary or giving a faulty reading? Any other opinions out there regarding this part?

Well now my truck is doing it again this time I only got 2 codes P1670 and P0344 Anybody have any ideas Ford isn't helping out to much every time I ask them a question about it they just say bring it in. It would be nice if they would tell me some things it could be so I can trouble shoot it.

oh yeah p1670 is a electronic feedback code to pcm ,most of the time you can disregard that code , but there could be a chance there is a problem with that wire ,is only one between pcm and idm ,with the code p0344 still in system ,would definitly address that code first , then go from there

Also forgot to mention this this all happned when I was out playin in some mud puddles not real deep ones but enough to splash water up on hood could I have got water in something? Cam sensor came out wet prety sure just oil though rubber seal was flat when it came out but had to pry on it with a screwdriver to get out So I don't think water got in nothing drained out when it came out.

Well I took it in and they said they got a fuel pump code and said they have seen it before with programers Don't know why that would make a difference Since I have had the programmer in for over 2 years. Anybody else heard of that? I know FASS makes a better pump BUt they are little over $400 Not sure what a stock one is.

I pick it up today I will find out what the code was.

The codes they got were P1670 IDM
P0344 Cam Sensor fail
P0232 Fuel pump High
What they said was after time running the chip on the high setting wore out the pump Cause the chip added more fuel pressure. They said they only have seen it with the Edge Programmers and when it was shorting out or whatever it was doin I was probably getting air in the line so thats why it was having problems starting and that it would run for a bit then crap out again. It runs fine without the programmer but they said it would be wise to get another one.
