I have a 2008 F350 with 83,000 miles on it. I have a Magnaflow 4" exhaust, and Diablo Sport tuner. I had been driving for around 40 miles and slowed to make a right turn, when I turn and throttled up the truck stumbled, I saw the the CEL had come on! I could not get the truck above 1700 RPMs. I then realized the truck was in Limp Mode, stopped and checked all fluids, and everything we could. No Change! I went as far as dropping the DPF off, but no help! Checked the fuel filters with no help! Had to limp it on in to home. Left the truck sit overnight, and tried it the next morning! The next morning the truck ran perfect for around 30 miles, then dropped into Limp Mode again! Got any suggestions? I pulled the tuner off to see if this would help, but you good!

Get rid of the diablo tuner. Take it in for warranty. When you get it back get a spartan or sct and delete the dpf

^^^ what he said.

Most likely you have clogged your DPF beyond all recognition. The dealership is probably going to have a cow. Claim ignorance. They may be able to detect that it was programmed with the diablosport, if they can, you are hosed. They'll probably void your warranty. Then they will try and get you to pay some outrageous amount for a new DPF, and you should tell them to keep it. Then you can spend a lot less for a DPF delete kit from Spartan or SCT, and be much happier for it.

Best case scenario is that they replace your DPF, and you don't get your warranty voided. If that is the case, it will still be best that you get rid of the Diablosport, and get some custom tuning with a DPF delete. Save the DPF for any future dealership visits.

Well guys,

The dealer says that I have a short in the main wiring harness, that caused my high pressure pump to go out, along with 2 injectors! They have had the truck 1-1/2 weeks and I got it back yesterday! Headed out this morning and got around 100 miles, and the truck did the same routine, started missing and got the CEL, along with Limp Mode! Back to the dealer, not sure what to do now!
