Two "hiccups" and a stall today

From the time I drove my truck off the lot Thursday til last night I've had no issues whatsoever besides my radio tends to turn on when it wants to but that should be an easy fix. I drove it 65 miles home, to work the next day, took a big detour home to run errands, took my brother and his gf for a long ride last night, and everything was fine. This morning I went out to show a couple friends the new ride and twice while I was driving (both times while accelerating from a standing stop) the truck "hiccuped" for a split second. It just felt like I momentarily lost power and just like that the truck was fine again.

Like I said, it happened twice, but otherwise the truck was fine. My last stop was the hardware store-I got a call while I was waiting for the truck to cool off before I shut it down. I talked for about 5 minutes while the truck idled and it died. I restarted it right away without a problem and idled it for 5 more minutes before I shut it down and went inside.

There is no check engine light and otherwise the truck drives great. No driveability issues whatsoever. I'm a little worried-any ideas?

Also check your battery cables

Take it back to the dealer, you have only had it a few days, they will probably just replace it for you no charge, and your good to go.

Yup, and believe me Badfish, it wouldn't be the first used truck to drive of the dealers lot with a bad CPS, If you look around you'll find a thread or two on the subject. So get it back to the dealer as soon as you can and let them know whats going on. Sound like a pretty good outfit, so you shouldn't have a problem

I aggree with the CPS being faulty, How ever I do not aggree with the battery cables being loose, as I have had my truck running with both batteries removed after start up. I also aggree with the comment take it back to the dealer, if it is still underwarranty.

Check your connections too. At the CPS and possibly at the accelerator position sensor. Most likley the CPS though. If you don't want to fool with any of it though, I believe I would take her back to the dealer also:thumb:

Even if it's not under warranty, he just picked it up from the dealer, they should do something about it if they are worth there salt, I can't see them saying no to a truck they just sold of the lot Thursday night.

I hear that, but from what Bad was saying they are pretty straight up in the way they were dealing with him Deeno. So I'm hoping he won't have a problem like that.
