Well I finally got my truck back after 4 weeks well 2 weeks for egr cooler, which is now deleted, and then I had it for 2 days and back in for high pressure oil system failure something about a snap to connect connection. This was the final straw I believe am now looking for a 6.4. What do you guys think? Does it sound like a good Idea this truck has been in the shop 5 times since last April. If it happens in the winter again I’m screwed.

are you going to the same dealer to have work done. usually a good dealer would have replaced the whole oil system, pump and what not when a truck has a bad cooler.

but i understand your frustration, i would do some good reading on the 6.4 before buying though. swing or miss like anything else though with them trucks and even the 6.0s like you are experiencing now

Took em 2 weeks to find a connector? That must've been hella-buried.

well they new what the problem is they just couldnt get it fixed because they had like 5 other 6.0s in there before mine. I dont really know how the other dealers would replace the whole thing considering big daddy ford requires all kinds of tests just to be able to replace somehing. I think that is what took so long. I dont know why ford at the beginning of all this trouble on these 6.0s didnt just recall all the major problems like head gaskets, egr, oil system, and just replace it all after one goes bad in the long run they probably would have saved money. just my 2 cents.
