Hey with my no start issue, maby you have some advice. I unplugged the glow plug wire and the vacc motor. When i turn the key all i hear is the pump under the drivers seat on the frame. Nothing from under the hood. The 4th pin on the ficm reads 48+ volts KOEO. The 50amp fuse in the kick panel is fine, there is 12ish volts there. The scan guage says ICP is 1147psi, with zero for FMP, FLP, FVP. Ive ohm metered ever fuse on the vehicle. Batteries hold 12.3volts

I am doing great. Just been busy as heck and haven't had much time to devote to the forum. I pop in when I can for as long as I can. Lately, that means about 5 minutes here and there.

NYC - Hope all is well with you.

It's been a few hundred miles since I did the EGR cooler delete, up pipe, oil cooler, thermostat, fuel/oil filters, and changed the oil to sythetic. Now, I have oil coming out of my exhaust pipe and after checking the coolant for combustion gases I've determined the head gaskets are blown.

After the initial repairs the truck ran great, the ECT and EOT were real close to each other. Now, my ECT hovers right around 190 and my EOT around 130. Why the big difference?

I'm buying a new long block with ARP studs and black onix gaskets. As you know this will already be setting me back a pretty penny. My question is, should I find a way to get another 2K to buy the BPD oil cooling system? I'm also adding the Sinister coolant filtration system and blue spring upgrade kit. Any other suggestions?

    Thanks for your help!

NYC...I read some posts from you on DieselStop and saw you moved to this site, so joined here... Wanted to get some more info from you if I can. I'm a newb mechanic and starting to dig into my F250. I have a seasoned buddy I work with, but he is new to PSD. Hoping seasoned pros like you can help me on my journey. Was really interested in your coolant flush PDF; very informative. I plan on doing the deed this summer. So far I have purchased 4 gallons of Fleetrite ELC, Restore, Restore +, new thermostat, 1 quickdrainvalve (although from your document believe i need 2 more), and a Dieselsite Coolant filtration system. I'm guessing I need to go ahead & install the filtration system now to start cleaning some of the gunk outta the coolant system? Also, based on your post I joined Eauto which has a ton of info. I'd really like to read your PDFs on Turbo, EGR, intake, and oil cooler removal. Looking forward to hearing from you soon! i can be reached at roadie821 at gmail dot com.
