Its time we start thinking about a new chapter director, asst director & historian.
any takers?

I no longer have a truck so it seems pointless for me to chime in, we have a lot of great members that can easily take this over. its not hard, but you need to be on here just about daily to check into the group.

Well I barely have the time to be on here. I try and monitor the threads when I do get on though. I'm active in the chat thread mostly though because I get email updates on it.

PLEASE - Do NOT nominate me for any of the positions.

I hold the position of Moderator on here - per the rules, I cannot hold an office. I only moderate during my time on line, which I control.

We will need to have someone occupy each of the offices - There are those here who watch over the chapters to make sure everything is running smoothly, which includes having officers in place. If we don't have them in place, we run the risk of loosing our chapter status. We've come quite a ways getting where we are. Let's not lose that.

Laurie, I want to thank you for all your efforts for WCS - NorCal. You stepped up and got us going after the previous administration faultered. You worked with Terri (Granny) to get the state chapter divided and got us moving up here, including finding a decal vendor for our decals.

IMO, all 3 of our officers have done a good job here. Apparently, it is time to 'adjust' leadership, let's pick good ones.

Rather than asking who is eligible, might I ask who would be ineligible? (i.e. too recently held office, too new to the WCS, etc...) I think Gabriel would be a solid candidate for an office. It seems like his online status bubble is always lit up green. I would also like to help in any way possible if that's what it takes for us to retain our chapter status.

well the only requirement 'technically' is that you have to been a org SUPPORTER, which since you are military member you can be a leader.

Well, I don't know if I think that's fair. I think even if I am a military member I should still have to be a financial supporter of the org just like everybody else. I plan on becoming a premium member but I haven't financially been able to. Things have just been a little tight. I don't want to nominate myself either because that isn't really how this works, but I would take office seriously and if somebody else nominated me I would make some things happen and become a supporter for the good of the chapter at least.

TECHNICALLY you are supposed to be a supporter, but I think that it can be worked out. I can stay on also, I don't have to have a PSD, but I figured if you guys want some fresh blood in here you should be able to . I will check with the higher ups & see what they say

OK< I talked to the higher ups & you DO NOT have to be a premium member. so that opens it up for everyone who is active. I dont check in daily but I do make my presence known if that helps.
all you do is make sure everyone plays friendly, keep up on the directors threads & make sure we have decals etc which I already set up.

so in a month or so I will put up a poll for the positions so come on nominate away

I will nominate Marine 5811 just cuz......................he sounds like he may want the position.

I will ALWAYS be here to make sure the chapter stays afloat. I worked to hard to see it fail. I'd rather stay director then see it fail in any way, if thats ok with you guys

Well seeing as I don't have the time to be the full time director I don't think I'd make a good candidate for that. I'm fine with assistant director though I help out with what I can and make to meets. I apologize for not making meets this past summer but I was down the truck for a good part of it and extremely busy.

Haha. Thanks Laurie. There doesn't seem to be a lot of activity in this thread right now, though. I hope the poll does better, especially if the chapter wants to keep the same leadership. Speak up guys! Your input is everything for the chapter.
