bad luck

I know this is a approved facilities forum, but hear me out if you live in illinois. Do not, i repeat do not go to "Triangle Diesel" in Kankakee. I brought my truck there just for an oil pan replacement and it hasn't ran the same since. and oh yeh there is a big scratch in the side of my truck that their insurance refuses to cover...mmmm strange how did it get there them. Well you were warned.

Jenkins Ford in Buckhannon WV....they always take good care of me. When i first got my truck, i had a few worries cause i got it used. Took it in, they checked everything out for like 3hours told me anything and everything i could think to ask about the truck, nomatter how dumb the question. very honest, told me what mods i could do and not void the warrenty with them, lots of good stuff. Ive also bought 5 new vehicals off of them too.

Sanderson Ford in the Phoenix Metro area not only delivers excellent service but is simply one of the best dealerships I've ever done business with... Very smooth operation without the headaches or haggling for the best price... They quoted me a price after tax, title, dealer prep (you know the, the bottom line that I was going to pay)... I didn't even blink when I looked at the number... It was so good it had me dumbfounded.... It was an '06 loaded to the hilt in August of '05 and I paid 14k less then sticker ( I AM NOT going to complain)...

Anyway, my experience with their service department was easily as good as with their sales department... All I had done was a power window motor replacement, yes they did have to troubleshoot it.. Because I didn't get there first thing in the morning he wasn't sure he could get it done that day so he put me in a loaner... I wasn't home for 30 minutes when he called and said it was done...

Ken....

I know many of us have another vehicle besides our trucks. I haven't found a really great truck shop in NE Ohio, though Classic Ford in Chardon isn't bad. If any of you have a German car besides your truck, I cannot recommend Rocky River Automotive Diagnostic highly enough. Dan is a German native and really knows his stuff. He never tries to sell parts or service that is not needed and he guarantees his work. What I wouldn't give to find a Powerstroke mechanic around here like that!
