Advanced Auto in Golden (not the parts store). Greg is the owner and is VERY sharp with the Ford diesels. He drives an 08 PSD

EDIT: I still think he's a great tech, but he may try and bend you over. This is breaking news . I asked him for a tranny flush price with BG, $450 . The dealership is $225, with Motorcraft fluid

Looking for some help with some upgrades for my truck. This will include tranny, intercooler, front and rear gears, maybe injectors and turbo. Any suggestions for the Connecticut area?

In the Central Valley of California a really good shop is JTS Truck Repair in Bakersfield, Ca. (661) 847-1777, 4300 Saco Rd. A Side road parallel to HWY 99 north of 7th Standard/ Merle Haggard BLVD. If you think what you did to your diesel is bad just wait and see what they haul off of the hwy with the 18 wheelers. I have had them work on both my 7.3 and 6.0 fast and a fair deal. The service manager used to work at International.

Upstate NY 7.3 mechanic

Hi. Looking for a 7.3 mechanic in the Ithaca area...zip 14850. Thinking about picking up my first 7.3, but don't want to be left high and dry with a bunch of gasoline alley boneheads.

Thanks!

hb

btw, hit me up at hrb2@cornell.edu if you have a quick answer.
