MD hunters

I know there are some hunters out there.

so let's talk, what you hunt, where, when, guns, birds, deer....

today was opening day of what i have always called early duck season. I didn't get out in the morning due to work commitment, but got out this afternoon with some friend. saw plenty of geese and several ducks. we didn't wind up with any ducks. we had our chances but blew them. oh well, there's always another day.

YES...it is hunting time. I am not much on small game and have never been duck/goose hunting; however, I would like to give it a shot (pun intended). I have hunted just about every big game species in North America....Moose, Elk, Caribou, Pronghorn, Grizzly, Black Bear, Mule Deer, and Whitetail. I use a variety of different weapons from Crossbow, Rifle, Muzzleloader (in-line & flintlock), and a pistol from time to time.

Mike

I've been hunting since I was 11. I used to go a lot more but now that I'm older I just can't find the time. I hunt whitetail but I want to try my hand at waterfowl and some upland game too. Pretty much I'm down for whatever. But the other problem is that our private land had been lost for years.. Thus the other reason I haven't hunted as much in the past years

I hunted last year with my friend, mostly cause he had all the hook ups for land. I bow hunt but just bought a shotgun a couple weeks ago to use for turkey in the spring and deer in the fall.

Nice little stag there. Is there a large poplulation of them in MD? I wouldn't mind hanging one of those on my wall.
