CSP Tech Help

Hey guys starting this thread for chat about mechanical and tech issues...

When I started college I worked part-time then full-time at a repair and performance shop...did that for several years...I always did repair work myself...I worked at a lawn maintenace company as there fleet mamager, basically i fixed EVERYTHING...weed wackers to PSD's...did a 5yr enlistment in the Army as a mechanic...so thats my history...any ?'s ask Rattlesnake....

Recently someone was asking about a tranny...what is going on with that?

I replaced my shocks chasing a clunk and now its a tiny pop...think I got a ball going out...I may go back in and replace the bolts to my shocks...took my bumpers off to bed line them...

So if anyone has any ?'s or advice then post it here...

The tranny was Drew IIRC, or me, looking to possibly swap a manual into my truck

I have a pretty good mechanical head on me too, not as much with the diesels, but I can/will do most anything if I want to. Just pulled and replaced an engine in a 'fix and flip' 4Runner that my brother and I bought just to make some extra $$$. I rebuilt the eninge in my rock crawler, installed a solid axle in place of the IFS. Welding is a fun hobby for me too

I think between all of us, we have most things covered

It has been suggested by granny, that we use these types of threads for there titles purpose, and not fr jibber jabber (I know, Jeff's fault right ). So lets keep them for that, if you're selling, of looking for something post in THAT thread, and maybe PM if you have something to offer someone. New members thread, for new member intro's, and so on

It either throws codes or leaks oil. Never had to replace one, but looked in to it. It is right on top of the motor, near the HPOP. Just unplug it, and turn it out with a crows foot.

They sell for about $100 on ebay.
