Thumbs up Brunswick Ford

My wife just had remote start installed on my 06. Since I was on deployment, she told them to take their time. They said that it is the first one they installed on a diesel. After she got the truck back, she only had one problem, which they quickly fixed. They just had to reprogram it. Overall, I'm pretty impressed! Which is hard to do when it comes to my truck.

Brunswick Ford, not too impressed. I took my truck in cause it was dripping trans fluid out of the weep hole in the torque converter cover (I knew it was the torque converter seal), tech looked put it up on the lift and came back and told me my turbo was leaking everywhere, oil all over the back of the motor, I said ok let's go take a look. He whips RED trans fluid on his finger and says see you got motor oil everywhere. I wanted to smack him right then and there. Then I educated him on what diesel oil and trans oil look like. Anyway they brought another tech over who said no the turbo is fine and the trans is leaking like I talked about. Long story short I wasn't happy but they pulled my trans and replaced the torquer converter seal, 650 bucks later it was done, they did give me the use of a loaner though. They are an ok shop but I question there diesel techs.

There is a good diesel tech I have dealt with up a quirk ford in Augusta, we had a long chat and I figured is was ok when he said "Wow, you have a 2003 7.3, never sell this thing it's the best combo you can find" We had a long chat about a bunch of other stuff too, I can tell when someone is BSing me and not, he wasn't.
