TANK testing the new 41's ......hub issues...lol

Let me first start by saying.....

DR 4.5" lift, 41" x 13.50 x 20's IROK Super Swampers, 20 x 10 Mojave Teflon wheels w/ 4.5" BS, and Bushwacker Cut-outs.....NO RUB............yet

Saw a guy driving down the road with dirt on his truck,..stopped him,..and said "let's go wheel'n...he came...lol

Todays wheel'n adventure SUCKED!!!...we were there 10 minutes, and I GOT STUCK!!!!!...well....everyone got stuck..

Come to find out that my right front hub wouldn't engage...and I didn't know until it was too late....it was like dragging a 41" anchor through the mud....and this Louisiana Gumbo Mud isn't very forgiving.

Here's a vid....be careful not to have the kids in the room!!!!....rainwater has a potty mouth...lol

If you listen you can hear the new guy ask about my lockers,..because he saw one tire wasn't spinning....and don't pay any attention the the idiot in the second vid.... " front right, drivers side"....DUHHHHHH...lol

Almost got some air in my truck...lol

stuck diagnosis(incorrect area though)

Now here are a couple pics...not many of me,..I don't care, I have plenty wheel'n picks...lol

I don't understand why my wife gets mad when I come home from wheel'n,...maybe it's the carpet thing she's always b1tching about...lol

new guy got "roosted"

Here are the pics you all have been waiting for...let me set the scene for you.

ka rainwater's 2004 Harley Davidson Edition FORD F-250...
6" lift
37 x 13.50 x 22 TOYO's
22 x 12 Rockstars

RAINWATER TO THE RESCUE!!!!!

Rut ro raggy!...6 more feet and rainwater would've been swimming....at one point, I had to strap my truck to a tree to keep it from sliding into the river...it was sliding in as I was putting the strap around a tree...lol

pretty and posing...MAN THAT TRUCK LOOKS GOOD!!!!!!

If you look at the bottom right of this pic,...near the date stamp....the thing that looks like a bent tree limb...it's actually an elbow....lololol

rainwater showing off the Rockstars...

Now the rest of the story...

I took off the hub, and it was rusted solid,..I had to splash soda in it to try and loosen it up...smacked it with a hammer a couple times,...and I was good to go....but it was getting dark and we didn't want to chance it by getting stuck again....so we ended the day.

After It was all fixed, and had ALL the tires turning...it was a breeze to get out...those tires made a HUGE DIFFERENCE!

BTW- Did I mention that I didn't rub with my 41's on my 4.5" lift?....yet...lol

I like your rig man. I think I might hack up my fenders now and put some big meets on there.

Looks like a blast. The worst part about that is the clean up afterwards.

I missed that intro thread. I like your truck a whole lot more now and you did a great job with the fabrications.

Way to go Tank! If you are going to do a lot of mudding you will learn that regular hub service is a must. It doesn't take much for them to get fouled up inside and not work when you need them!

yeah...I've pulled them off before, and they were always nice and dry...this time they were rusted bad....I guess the seals failed.
