Fall LSP GTG News

OK folks, Bryan and I have spoken about a Fall GTG and we are looking for suggestions.

Here's what we have in mind,

Meeting in Houston sometime in October. I think the Diesel Drags are in Oct.

Meeting in Austin or surrounding area in Oct.

We want to get this out there as early as possible and get some feedback. Suggestions please!!!!!

I will leave this up for a couple weeks and then we will post a firm time and location.

Thanks,
Mike

You know Mike, I have been looking half the night for events in October around San Antonio/Houston/Austin and am coming up blank.
Had a though though. I am curious as to how much work would be involved in creating our own sponsored events. We read about Bully Dog days, A 2 day event held by the owners of Bully Dog.
Maybe shooting for a Drag strip event in the central Texas area (Austin/San Antonio) that we had sponsored by local and national companies. SCT/DP/TRUCK SOURCE DIESEL/POWERSTROKE.ORG/LSP/ A START UP DYNO SHOP/ LOCAL FORD DEALER/ ECT. Instead of going the promoter route, We could promote ourselves and let it grow into a fully subsidized event.

Or we could just find an event and piggy back off that

Mike and I have been talking about something that could lead into that. No details. Just casual conversations.

I'll talk to one of my contacts and get some ideas from them, next week. Then, we can have a skull session over the ideas they suggest.
