Question for my soon to be fellow Texans

So I have to be in Victoria, TX by June 1st and I was needing to know if a diesel without a cat or muffler would pass inspections in Texas? 2nd question if you're in Victoria, where is the best place to live?

Yes, at about 90% of the inspection places...technically you have to have a cat but I have no DPF or Cat or Muffler on my 08 and I have passed every year. I am here in corpus but we are about to start a new location in Victoria and will be up there from time to time to get them up and running.

Inspection is safety inspection only. I have Junkyard cat that is gutted and no muffler. Kept cat just in case it is ever needed. Welcome to Texas
