LSP Annual G2G's Date and location discussion.

Ladies and Gentlemen,

In the effort to line up an annual LSP G2G allot has come up, and in an effort to capitalize on this with the most attendance and get everyone together I've chosen to make a poll on time of year, and location after we discuss locations and times on this thread.

The goal of this is to get a general idea of when and were to hold this. If we have two throughout the year I'm not against it if provides more members the chance to join in with the G2G.

So, I would appreciate this if it was kept to just a nomination thread on the following:
Location - If you have a place you would like to nominate to hold the G2G please list it's name and location.

Date - If you have a particular time (lets keep it to a month and day), nominate that as well. All nominations that have atleast 3 entries will be put on a poll and "WE" as a group will decide by voting.

This will come down to an organized fair selection of a location and time of year. If multiple G2G's (i.e. early year, and later in the year) come up we can consider that. Again, this is meant to be for "LSP" members so your input is appreciated in lining this up.

Would it work better to do during spring break or beginning part of the summer should be question number one. ALOT of our members have kids and its just easier that way.........doesn't have to be that way, but I'm just sayin'

I won't bother submitting a place only because I have no problems with whatever location is chosen. I can work with just about any place that is suggested which helps others who may be restricted some. I'm the kinda guy who will drive long distance if need be and not think twice about it. As long as I'm not deployed out of state or overseas with a unit I will be able to take time off for it.

If your suggesting it, then post it as your suggestion. It may work with the majority, that's the whole point... brainstorm/figure out what works best. Open for idea's, then we can vote on it.

I hear ya and appreciate your cooperation. Im curious to see what idea's we get, I'd be happy tubing the Frio if we ever got any rain for next year. Post up some idea's people. Don't hold back!

Im pretty open, I am not familar with Texas so I can not really give any ideas.

If it is anywhere south of Dallas, it'll have to be during May just bc my summer is going to be absolutely CRAZY.
All of June I'll be outta the states, and I'm getting married in July.

Anywhere is fine with me as long as I am available

Location:Im thinkin Corpus For the Main Fact that there is alot to do!! ie; FISHING lol!!

Date: And for the date im thinkin around Mid April because its not too hot not too cold and there is GREAT Fishing that time of year lol!!

There ya go Kevin I thought it would Give an Example for everyone!! just my opinion even tho it would kinda suck for the ppl in the panhandle and west Texas!!

Thanks for the example, and I think Corpus should be the last place it happens. We have G2G's whever down here, so don't fret on that. Plus we're hoping to get to a centralized location so it will be somewhat of equal distance (El Paso, or Panhandle excluding)...

But we can let this go and see what idea's we get and then move forward from there.

I would think somewhere around austin.... maybe hit up lake lbj, would be pretty central for everybody.
