Ideas?

Ok, if we wanted to try and have one or two GtG's what dates or locations would be best? I'm just trying to get an idea on what and where we could get the most attendance, which is going to be hard given the large state. Maybe a Northern G2G the same weekend of some of the events they have up there? Yay nay? Or any other idea's?

I don't see why not, I would like to create some dialog here so people that aren't able to make it can put some input in. I definately think a G2G of some sort around maybe College Station, or even further North is needed. I would like to include Jmart, Juggs, and some others up that way with a closer location so maybe that they could attend.

I'm pretty restricted to the metroplex for the rest of the year unfortunately. I'm game for one up here tho. I think setting up a spring G2G at a campground / lake would be awesome that way I can request the time off ahead of time

Maybe something like Lake Whitney, Buchanan Lake and I think a couple lakes in the College Station area have cabin rentals as well as RV hookups.

Yeah I know the ones at Lake Whitney are really nice and there's like 12(ish) cabins all right by each other, we could have a weekend compound! That just might be a little much of a drive than others would want. It doesn't really matter to me, I was just thinking a good lake between the DFW / Austin / Houston "triangle" would probably be the most convenient for everyone. Plus everyone can bring out the boat, RV or whatever else they want to tow behind their stroker.

I'd be all for tenting it, the wife and kiddos on the other hand...
