Quick explanation of chapters

Just curious why chapters are created instead of everyone just posting in the Texas Forum. Are chapters more like a break down of counties or a specific region?

Jon,

Good question, let me see if I can break this down on my understanding of the break down to regions/sub-chapters....

Given the size of Texas, it poses a logistical challenge to generate a G2G that most can attend. If there is a G2G in Dallas, well that's a good drive for people in West Texas, South, Panhandle... etc. etc.

So the idea was to break down the state into "regions/sub-chapters" to generate more involvment in localized area's within the state. And promote more G2G's in that area, bring people together...etc. etc. Then the goal was to try and have 1-2 state wide G2G's each year to bring all of the regions/sub-chapters together.

Essentially just break the state down into more managable area's to increase activity, interest, and involvment with LSP.

Hope that explains, we have seen a surge in new members and would really like to capatilize on it and have some good G2G's and get out and meet your local Powerstroke members in your area.

Kevin
