Havin' A Hard Time Believing This One.....

Well, I've got a friend with an '02 F-250 XL 5.4L. The only mods his truck has is a straight pipe, no kitty with a FlowMaster Super44 & a K&N CAI. It's one of those deals where he'll stomp on it, it sounds like he's going 100mph, but the truck looks like it's doing 40..........maybe 41. Now, he called me up this morning saying he smoked an '03 F-250 6.0 with a K&N, Edge, & that's it. No exhaust, special fuel/turbo/or trans upgrades, just 2 mods. I know my truck could destroy his '02, but there have been very few 6.0s I've been able to beat, & the ones I've beaten were either 100% stock, or the driver just didn't know how to drive/launch. According to my friend, he had this 6er by 2 truck lengths on a windy road in the next town over from me for about 3/4mi stretch. Does anyone think this is possible, or do I have a Walt Disney on my hands????

P.s.- If it makes a difference, the '02 5.4 is a standard cab longbed & the 6.0 is a CC, LB.

yeah, i don't buy that one. The super duties with 5.4's are total toads. Stock 6.0's are quick and i can't say that for a 5.4 in a SD.

I agree! Like I said, sounds like it's going 100, but it when you're looking @ it, it doesn't look like it could do 0-60............in a weekend!

I talked to him @ school today, & he didn't mention anything about it @ all. I'm going to ask him about it tomorrow & see if the story stays the same.
