Drag Dakota

One of my buddy's just bought a drag dakota the other day with a 360 motor. Its got a few mods and is pretty quick. And he knew my truck was fast and all but he was saying there is no way my truck could beat his in a 1/4 mile race and me takin off in 2wd and no boost. So i made the deal and said u got a race there but if u win i get my 4wd and boost. So we raced the first race where i am in 2wd and no boost. And well all i gots to say it wasnt much of a drag truck! haha I beat him by about a truck length and was goin about 90-95 mph. So once again i am undefeated. O ya. And if any1 lives around or remotely close to charelston Ill. April first open drags. 10$ race all day. Ill be there lookin forward to seeing some of u guys that will be close around there.

That's funny - you're right it's not much of a drag truck he bought but at least you gave him something to base off of.

you should have raced him again, but in 4wd and build boost to poor salt in the wound

What mods do you have, i have a buddy who says i have no chance in a race vs his dakota rt with the 360.He has a few mods and a 100 shot of nos. This race will happen when i get my sct i already have turbo back xhaust.

i think he said his fastest 1/4 was 13.9 with nos

i got the 4" straight pipe airaid cold air intake and the sct. and i think u will have a chance in 4wd and build some boost. cuz ours was a close race but i started dead stop with absolutly no boost so ya u will have a chance. it will be close. you have any gauges? And i am trying to talk him into lettin me put it in 4wd just to see how bad i could beat his azz for ya stump but he wont do it.

Bud my store manager has an R/T with a 75 wet a and i have walked all over that crappy truck, The times i have run him i just built some boost, and in 4wd, Now if i would have done it in 2wd he would walk all over me...

Those R/T 360's are just Pigs. They sound kinda gnarly but they just guzzle lots of gas and don't put down the power, especially thru that crappy 4 speed auto.
