A friend of mine has an 04 duramax and it seems like they're a dog until they get a chip and exhaust at least. He's got a Bully Dog chip, intake, and exhaust on it and MAN does that thing run!! I haven't had the opportunity to get my a$$ handed to me yet but i'm sure it's comin. I'm pretty sure i've got him off the line just cuz it seems like it takes a month for that turbo to spool still but after that i'm done like dinner i have a feeling...

I agree unless its a classic bowtie like a SS Chevelle or a Camaro but they dont even have bowties, Ill tell you what Ill take a Mustang or Cobra emblem over bolth!! I may own a GM but its a Buick and its emblem is a stylized R. And no an emblem dont make the car but its the pride behind the emblem that matters to me!!

I owned an 02 Dmax before I bought my Powerstroke. I absolutely loved the Dmax! That was one good running truck stock and even better after I modded it. But, growing kids and and extended cab dont mix well anymore and I needed the room. The Powerstroke was too good of a deal to pass up. Sure it feels like a slug, but it wont be after I get done with it!!

Dmax

I also previously owned an 07 Dmx/LBZ, PPE tuned, intake, exhaust, lift pump on 37's...would flat destroy any other truck ive owned and with exception of some hvy modded rigs most anything that lined up against it. But other than the motor tranny combo the truck itself rode like ***, front end was junk, interior was small and boring as far as finish...the superduty is hands down the best ridin truck on the road...best interior by a mile...heavy duty suspension and IMHO the best lookin truck built...nothing but class from every angle...with the exception of the 10 trips for warrantee work a pleasure to own!!!
