I washed my truck today and when I left the car wash, an Ex-cab Dodge dually pulled out of the store next door and pulled up behind me at the stop sign. He started revving his motor. So I turned onto the highway slowly and the Dodge rolled the stop sign and pulled out behind me. I hammered on it and pulled away from him and saw him in my mirror blowing more smoke than I've ever seen in my life. The speed limit was 45 so I hit about 50 and let off. The Dodge was still blowing smoke and started gaining on me. He got about 1-2 lengths behind me and I could tell he wasn't letting off. So I floored it again and he kept gaining on me. At about 100mph he got up beside me and then started revving his motor again. Then his passenger stuck his hand out the window and waved and I waved back and then they slowed down and turned.
I took off like that because I didn't wnat him blowing soot all over the water that was still on my freshly washed truck. Mission accomplished!!
I wouldn't say I smoked him but I kept from getting smoked.
And to the Dodge guys credit, it was nice to race a Dodge that was a good sport instead of being a jerk.
