My First Race!

I Raced a guy I work with yesterday i got beat but was suprised that I hung so close to him. He has a 05 f250 CC SB 4x4 with 4" offroad exhaust and a CAI ,bullydog chip on the crazy larry setting. And my mods are in Sig. I Was on extreme tune. The first race I messed up, it was dead stop and I was stalling it up and didnt hold the brake hard enough (rookie mistake) and didnt realize I was already blowing my tire off (single track rearend

) when I left and it was a smoke show then after I realized that bounced the throttle got it to hook then it seemed like he didnt gain on me any more so im thinking If I hadnt have screwed up I couldve had a chance. Then we went from a 15 roll and i got him off the start then he started pullin me but he ended up maybe 1 or 1.5 lengths on me. I was pleased with my truck I thought he would have a@# raped me because everyone talking about how fast the 6.0's are. Also he is the same person a raced a year or so ago in my 03 model mustang Mach 1 he picked that race suprisingly I beat him pretty easliy but was suprised that he hung as close as he did. Probably 6 car lengths or so. My mach 1 would run 8.40's in the 1/8 mile on stock tires. What do yall think is that good or should I have been able to beat him? I was worried cause my truck has a fuel knock at idle.

being a 6.0 it would be tough to beat him. if he had a sct with extreme settings he would have really gave you a azz whoopin but at least you hung with him so good job

So the Bully Dog Crazy Larry tune is not that good.
