Supercharged Cobalt vs F-350

I was bored tonight so I went out for a coffee , on my way home I am sitting at a light texting away and this Cobalt starts reving his engine....so I figured what the heck (I have never raced my truck before).

We just happened to be sitting at a set of lights that go right out to the highway....so light turnes green and his windsheild goes black.
I had him till i burried my speedo to the far right position then he went by me.

Does anybody know what the supercharged ones are governed at?
It seemed like alot of top end for that little thing.

If he didn't get by you until you were over 100 mph, that's a kill in my book...

I judge everything by the quarter mile. Not much in to land speed racing...

The truck launched alright....I only brought it up to 1000rpm could have made it a better win had I actually made it a boosted launch.

Not sure if they are governed or not. They are built similary to the new Honda Accords, except the super charger. I topped mine out at 143 MPH at redline. I had a buddy with like an 06 or so supercharged that I would beat off the line, all up to about 75 MPH then he would be door to door with me, and my top end would slowly pull away from him, and we rocked them to about 130-135.

If you think about it, it would be stupid to govern a car past 100. You shouldn't be going 100 anyway So I don't think they are.
