Beemer 525i introduced to PSD

Ok I was driving down a 4 lane highway going home from work w/ a punk kid in his dads BMW on my butt last night. The stop light I was approaching was the last one before the 4 lanes went back to two lanes. The outside lane ends pretty quick after this light. I was in the inside lane and sure enough the light changed to red. Well this kid whips the BMW into the outside lane next to me and starts inching forward looking up at the light. He didn't want to get stuck behind the "great big slow truck" all the way up the road probably. Well needless to say it was ON in every sense of the word. I stepped on the brake, spooled her up and unleashed h$ll when the light changed. It really wasn't even a race, I put 3 lengths on him immediately. Well he was stubborn, he wasn't done yet. So I'm going 62 in a 55 and he's right on my bumper. As soon as a passing lane comes up he's flooring it trying to pass me, so I kept a fender on him..70, 75, 80......90..still a fender on him. Finally I just floorboarded it and buried the speedo. He got the message and just got behind me and settled for going 62.

NICE! I bet he went home and asked Daddy to buy him a Diesel Truck for his birthday!!! LOL Stupid kids, Diesel's aren't just for towing anymore!!!

If he knew that his BMW 525i only had 184hp (depending on year model) he would have never tried.

He learned his lesson that day..........

I heard that! I did some checking and the highest power 525i is the 2007 model with 215hp. Also, there are little to no performance upgrades save for suspension. I'm willing to bet this was a bone stock 525i,and we all know he was an inexperianced kid who was in a hurry to get to where ever, not having any reguard for anyone else. I'm sure he will be a little more respectful toward "slow looking" trucks from now on.

Yeah I don't think it was a new model, but it was really nice and well kept. I saw the 525i emblem when I turned off and he kept going down the road. It's not that his car wasn't fast..it just wasn't PSD fast. I can't flipping wait to get my chip!! Then I could have blown his doors off AND gave him a soot bath!
