Robber fatally shot in Miami Burger King holdup - South Florida - MiamiHerald.com Hope the shooter recovers quickly. Read some of the comments at the bottom of the thread, like the to go body bag. Good guy - 1 Dirt bag, waste of space, probable obama supporter, more than likely career criminal - 0 Craig |

You forgot to mention the goodguy is in the hospital in severe condition. He suffered multiple gun shot wounds from this incident.
When your in that situation. Shoot first then ask questions, don't start an arguement. If you posted the full story from the newspaper it will say that the good citizen started an arguement with the robber. At which time the gun fire began. Rendering the good citizen with several gw's. How ever he did end up killing the badguy. I have been discussing this incident on another forum. |

I also hope the citizen shooter recovers quickly and fully.
After reading the article I came to the conclusion (which I fully expected to reach) that the CC permit holding individual, who was prepared and probably well practiced, was able to deliver a fatal shot while under duress. The robber on the other hand, who probably only used his weapon for intimidation purposes before, shot wild and while still hitting his opponent several times was not able to make a stopping/killing shot. This is a lesson I feel everyone should take home from reading about this incident. Chance favors the prepared person. Always be prepared. Your life, and your family may depend on it... |

Wait a minute....wait a minute. Let's get this cleared up. Are they (reporters) telling us that the robber didn't wait for the police to show up before he committed his crime? This is unbelievable. What was this criminal thinking? Doesn't he know robbing someone is illegal and he should just turn himself in before committing a crime?
On a serious note, I hope the good samaritan recovers quickly and 100% and gets a medal |

Proof positive CC works. The crook was a dum dum he could have just ask the gov they would have given him the money.

I love the comment section. "Did they take him out in a to-go body bag?"
Greatness. And I'm not surprised at all the lib's "it didn't have to come to this" comments. Apparently, generations of rolling over and playing b*tch has become a dominate gene and criminals prey on this. |

This is a big discussion on another forum i'm at and would you actually chance your life at stopping a robbery? If he just wanted money then i would of sat there and kept my gun to myself. But if he was trying to take a life then i would have stepped in and done something about it.

The only thing this guy did wrong was engage in conversation. There should have been NO words. The only talking should have been two rounds, center mass in the scumbag's chest. |
