got killed by a ranger

I was going home from work and had a rich kid driving a brandnew jetta gli messing with me. We pulled up at a light I put the triple dog on extreme and shifted into 4hi and started boosting the jetta ended up turning and then there was a guy in a an obs ranger. He took off when the light turned grean and I was still boosting a little so I went after him. He kept pulling from me like nothing all the way to 80. I got up beside him after all of that and heard the turbo lol. It was a complete sleeper with the bad paint from the 80's and everything.

My buddy has a 90 ranger, it's a regular cab with the 4.0l and it scoots pretty good. Those old body styles are very light, one with a turbo would be down right fast.

the little rangers surprise alot of people. my 03 gets it done...its not exactly stock either though

Or a turbo 2.3?

1994.5, 2.5 lift, 35s on 17x10 MHTs, Intercooled, Stage 3 injectors, Nitrous, 6637, Water/Meth, 3" DP, 4" Magnaflow, IDM, TS Chip, 4.10s, 33s, 4 Pod pillar. 6000k HIDs.

Converted From ZF5 To E4OD w/ PCS TCM-2000 Tuneable Trans Computer, 6.0L Trans cooler and Triple Disc TC.

Up next Install electric fuel, ladder bars

Ranger

My dad has one with a 351W in it with an e40d, still has the V6 badges on the fenders, faded paint and a mashed front fender. I saw him just about make a grown man cry one night when he spanked his 396 chevelle with a lowely ford ranger...

I'm not sure what motor it hadbut it wasn't v-8 I was to suprised that I had just had my a** handed to me by a ranger to pay attention lol

There one around me that has a crazy 5.0L in it. He calls it Mini Lightning. I stopped him one day and went for a ride in it...All I can say is WOW!!! It goes pretty good. He did it right too. He said it was a project him and his Father worked on while he was in High School and when he graduated it became his as a present.
