06-07 Duramax dually goes down!

I was on my way to my rig this morning around 7:30 and was minding my own business listening to Robert earl keen live and sipping on coffee when this kid comes up beside me in a white duramax and paces me for a second then takes off real fast. Now, i know this guy has an exhaust and some kind of tuner because he let out alot of black smoke when he took off. I didn't do anything besides watch him acrobatically weave in and out of traffic in that dually and I was thinking to myself "must be late". Then my testostorone kicked in.....I was thinking what a smartass....then i thought: "Wait a minute...that was an 06 with the new LBZ engine(350hp/650tq) and I have been wanting to run one.......DANG IT why didn't i play??? Oh well, live to fight another day!

Then, like the diesel gods themselves heard me.....I was next to him at the last light heading outta town.....IT'S ON!!!

He had the typical "smirk" on his face and the "confidence" to back it! I switched to "4-hi" and spooled it up.....light turns and I jumped ahead of him quick! I knew he was into the throttle because between the two of us you couldn't see the intersection we took off from. I stayed in it for about 150yds and by that time i had him pretty good.....enough he knew he got took. I slowed to 70mph and he slowly passed me but, never looked at me then he turned off. SCT w/ xtreme tunes RULE!

Well, I know it would be a closer race. But, i feel like the SCT would get the job done. well as long as we had similar mods.

That's a lot of power with so few mods! beepbeepbeepbeep!!! I wish I was putting down 670! I'm lucky if I'm hitting 325-330. Though, I couldn't imagine hauling around with twice the power I have now! That would be rediculous! With that much power, you'd have to start worrying about traction and getting it to hook up.
