Honda killed! with PICS!

Well I had a very exiting Saturday morning. My neighbor comes banging on the door at 3 am and you know when you get that knock it's not good. So I open the door and he says "did you hear that?". I said hear what? He says some dude just plowed his truck and took off. So I look around the corner and here is what I saw. His truck was parked straight in the driveway



So I go look at the truck and the dude had hit the tire dead on so all it did was tweak his frame a little and did very little body damage.

So we go looking around the neighborhood for the guy and find him 2 streets down. He was so drunk he backed his car in to the driveway and ran over the landscaping. I got some pics in the morning since the night ones didn't turn out so good.



The cops were called but they couldn't really do anything since we didn't see him do it nor was he in the car when we found him. So they went over there and harassed him for a little bit but he wouldn't admit to anything. So my neighbor goes over there the next morning after I took pics and speaks to his mom and him. Turns out he knows the guy and he was still drunk at 12 pm. He is one of those guys that's been in rehab 10 times and jail many times and is never going to learn. He has insurance and is supposed to take care of it.

wait, the cops couldnt investage that alittle and prove that it hit his truck? I know you cant get a DUI on private property. But come on!

Had a cabbie stop short in front of me once. The 15yr old girl behind me wasn't quite as fast on the foot and went under me, about half way up the hood of her mom's new ride. I felt so bad for her. I don't think she ever quit crying.

Not nearly as funny as this story.

They were over there for a good 30 mins trying to get him to admit it but he apparently never did. Oddly there were no paint marks or anything left at the scene. The truck drives a little sideways now but if you didn't know about the accident it's really hard to tell anything happened. There was a small rub mark on the tire and that's it. Didn't even bend the rim. Built Ford tough
