'97 OBS vs. Nissan Maxima

let me start off by sayin that i know i shouldnt have done this since my motor didnt have 100 miles on it from being rebuilt but i just couldnt help my self. so i was cruisin along, with only the towin program set with my edge evo and my new stage I injectors, doin about 10 over when this nissan maxima was sitting on the side of the road waiting for his croach rocket buddies and i go by. i could have got smoke in his window but decided against it since my motor was just rebuilt. down the road a ways i look in my mirror and he is right on my azz so i give a little smoke to try and gett him to back off and he does for a while. then about a mile further i look again to see him goin to the left lane to pass along with all his biker buddies. i couldnt help myself, so i hand the can to er and the smoke comes rolling out and his gaining on me slows down to bearly at all, i was begining to stop his gain completely when i saw a car was comming so i let off and let him by. not a kill but it was so close and i bet if id had it on extreme id have passed him and made him choke on a the powersmoke.

i had a maximia and they are quick at top end, i loved that car

my brother has a 97 maxima with a 5 speed in it and it goes pretty quick too.

not quite enough tho in the towin mode... we'll have to see about the extreme mode, my hopes are high
