Prius pride bruised

So for work I make deliveries to the QuikTrips in St. Louis. I am a truck driver for QuikTrip. I park the truck, pull the ramp out and head inside to count product. In front of the store there is a Prius owner, on his phone, with the hood up. First off, I HATE the Prius. So, me feeling compelled to help, I saw "hey I know some stuff about cars, what's it doin?" He really couldn't tell me. This was him, "Well, I'm not too sure, it just doesn't seem to be running right and the check light is on." SO, me feeling awnry, I say I think I know what'll do it. I run inside, laughing to myself the whole way, I grab a pack of AA batteries and run back outside. I hand em to the guy, "I think this should do it." He gives me a kind of upset look "that's not very funny" I say "Sorry, I was just tryin to make light of the situation, I'm not too familiar with the hybrids." (I don't want to get a complaint and get reprimanded, not fun)

BUT BOY-o-BOY, the look on his face was awesome. It felt like the right thing to do.
