Poor F150 (and pedestrian)

Saturday i hooked my trailer to my truck for the first time since i got all the work done to it

We went down & got an old fulsize Ford bronco from a buddies house & I towed it home

I figure my trailer is about 1800lb and the Bronce was about 4000lb

the hill leaving his house is short but pretty steep, it drags down a stock vehicle pretty bad even when they are empty so i was real curious to see what all this money i spent on my truck got me!

I pulled out ON the hill with my buddy right behind me in his tweaked 79' F-150 (he has headers with dual flowmasters, an air intake, a 4 spd, and was running empty)
My chip was on low so i wasn't trying to go as fast as possible or anything but i did get on it pretty hard to see how fast & strong i could pull this load up the hill

by the time i topped the hill i was in 4th gear @ about 50 mph hard into the boost at about 1100 degrees on the EGT and he was no where to be found until the first stop sign out past the the top

We swung into Denny's to get some grub & he was laughing his beepbeepbeep off as he told me that not only did he have NO chance keeping up to my loaded down powerstroke in his empty gas powered truck, but at the same time this was occuring I POURED smoke all over some poor girl walking down the sidewalk

Whoops

My truck rocks

Funny thing is, I was in a dual turn lane and I was on the outside (that ends) and he was in the close one that is supposed to turn into royal farms. Well he didn't turn and I was only accelerating normally. I noticed this, gunned it, I heard his engine kick in and w/in 100 yards I was about 2 trucks ahead and getting into the single lane lol...

It was a 1500 flare side too!
