Ford Focus...killed by 6 year old

So I pick up my six year old at the bus this afternoon. He won a reading contest at school on wednesday...yes kindergarden. I told him I would take him out to pick up something at the toy store. So we go to game stop, and he picks out a Nintendo DS game. Afterwards I tell him we need to stop at walmart and get a couple windshield scrapers. When I traded my truck in last week I left mine under the seat, and yesterday I took my wifes (who parks in the garage anyways) but I broke the damn thing. Anyways, I pull into wally world and jump out of the car. My six year old say "Dad! Is that some kind of race car next to us? It looks just like DJ from the movie cars!" Now I'm a pretty bright guy normally, but I guess I was on a mission and missed everything. I say "Cole, what are you talking about?" as I look dumb founded around the lot. He says "Right there next to us!" I say "Holy crap...thats pretty funny cole. (snap pic) No, thats just some young punk trying to impress his other buddies that don't know anything about fast cars either." As I turn to start walking towards the retard workshop there is this kid standing there looking at me like "Duh, that aint my car" with his Ford Focus Racing hat on LMFAO! I says "look what you did Cole. You just made that young punk feel like an idiot" cole says "Whats an idiot?" I say "Anybody that would drive that car from this lot."

Its those father / son talks that make life tolerable.
