D-Max???

I have not seen that many kill stories on these? I was wonderin if I would win against my friend? I have an 04 with innovatives extreme street tune and he has like an 04 (I think) d-max with a banks 6gun and speed loader.

january 2003 6.0 F-350 Lariat 4x4 cc with 08 long bed. recon cab and mirror lenses, torqueshift(reman on 9-03-09) with three disc billet convertor(500 rpm lowered stall speed),mag-hytec deep tranny pan,, 8" fabtech lift w/ 37" iroc super swampers on helos,pro comp ladder bars, custom sct x3 with tunes by eric @ innovative diesel, boost and pyro,edge insight, afe, 4" straight piped, ARP headstuds, banks intercooler & high ram intake. engine mods & maintenance by first coast diesel performance.

idk man, he would probably win but you do stand a chance if he messes up off the line. only one way to find out

bad as i hate to say it , a dmax can be quick , but a 6.0also can , so give it a shot

give it a try a friend has an 03 d-max with the same mods as me(turbo back exaust and edge juice with attitude) and my truck is faster

I know they are fast but I thought I might have a chance. I know his allison doesnt like the extra power cause it shifts retardid when he gets on it. It will be fun though cause I keep hypin him up tellin him I am going to spank him He just eats it up

A friend of mine has an 04 D-Max, we've never lined them up but I've driven both and for stock trucks I think they would be pretty closely matched. Give it a try and let us know.

I should get me an tuner so I can try and spank a d-max with a 6 gun or two. I know two of them and neither has figured out the fun of a boosted 4hi launch yet.

if his tranny is acting up and eric has your shifting "spot on" you will spank him

I think with all else being equal, if he's got the banks product on his truck and you've got Eric's tunes I think you're 6.0 will be quicker. If the Dmax had "real" tuning you'd be in trouble. I've ran my truck against a coworkers '03 crew cab short box Dmax with a 6 gun and I walked all over him. I'd say just race him, be safe and have fun...
