I lost twice to them. But they were FAR from stock. One had a built trans duel cp3s and lots of nos! And the other had a set of twins and propane.

A Duramax can be made real fast, pretty easy. I'm don't know a whole lot about all the "tunes" and "chips" because my 12 Valve is all mechanical, but from reading around, the EFI Live program for the Duramax is supposed to be the best.

If he has a Bank$ product on his truck you're sure to win though

if he has Banks spank him(he deserves it),he wont stand a chance against the SCT Custim tunes,not a chance..
the ATS E-Power or the PPE are the best off the shelf tuners but with the 5SP Allison you realy cant run more then a 100RWHP extra(total of 400RWHP)before the tranny goes into limp mode but thats only in the top 2 gears now the 1st 3 will easily handle 500+HP without any mods so watchout for the off the line runs..also the 6SP Allison doesn't mind 450HP when tuned with EFILive and let me tell you about EFILive,if tuned properly on a LBZ or LMM mid 12's are very possible on stock turbo,injectors and no bottles.only mods needed is a $2000 tranny upgrade,$500 fuel system(including lift pumps),$400 IFS upgrade,exhaust,guages and $750 on EFILive.thats it,now add a bottle and low low 12's is in the sites.

Cool thanks for the input guys well this race is getting closer cause I got my guages installed over the weekend and my exhaust is in the mail waiting upon arrival Then I will be able to test out the extreme street

my buddy had the six gun in his duramax "tampon" and the shifting points were al messed up, now he has a ppe and he smokes me, i just tell him trucks are made for pulling not racing and i got a chain! lets hook em up !!!!

Not yet just got my exhaust installed this weekend so all I have to do is meet up with him sometime! If it is not this week then I will def see him this sun so should have a story then
