Talking Louisiana Snow Tow

Well today it snowed in baton rouge between 3 and 4 inches. So me and the wife and kids went and rode around and I came upon a Chevy Avalanche that went off in the ditch and I asked the Deputy if he wanted me to pull and he said yea, So i hooked it to the tow loops on the front 4X4 Low and let off the brake and man did that pstroke get it. I did not even have to press the skinny pedal, the guy was hitting the gas I told the Deputy to tell him not to give it gas cause i did not want him hitting my truck cause he couldnt drive...

That thing got some tq it would get the slack out of the strap and pop him with nothing on the pedal.... I had a smile from ear to ear.

Anyway my first time in the snow and was proud of "That Ole' Diesel Truck Tucking Out Black Smoke" as my little boy named it.

Man, some people have all the luck. I had to take my boy to school 'cause the bus was tied up in traffic on the other side of town. I couln't find a single chevy to pull out of the ditch. I even had my camera with me, just in case.

no pics cause it was a busy 2 lane rd the guy i pulled out did not even say thanks but i did it for the cop because i know how it is to sit on traffic directing duty and it would have been awhile for a wreck because of how many people were in ditches...

the deputy told me thanks

I didnt get to pull anyone out but heres a couple pics I took before I went to work at about 5:45 in the morning. These were Northwest of Lafayette a few miles about 70 miles from Baton Rouge. It built up even more after I took these pics. It snowed for about another hour here.
