Smoked Goat

well this morning i'm cruising to work(a little late)and i was keeping it at 70MPH(interstate)when along comes a 04-06 Ram2500 QC LB with CR CTD in it and first thing i notice was the exhaust and then the slight puff of smoke so i sped up a bit to take a peek at the pillar to see if it had gauges or a controller of sorts but i guess he didn't like that so he lays into that thing(must have been a straight exhaust, sounded awesome)but he was no match for the LBZ Duramax with a good"ol EFILive in it lets say by the time i hit 85MPH i had him passed and 2 truck lengths on him but the funny thing is all i had was hot tow tune....the mighty Cummins isn't always that mightyi know it wasn't with a PSD but i thought you all mite enjoy a Cummins kill regardless.

Nothing like a good cum-a-part kill!

Dodge owners seem to be all bark and no bite!

not true, there's a guy with a cummins here at school with dual sequentials, built tranny, etc. it's extremely fast, even sitting about 8" higher than stock on 38's. i think it's the fastest in this zip code, at least.

i understand they can be fast and there are some super fast ones out there but alot ofem have "i'm faster then anything else" issues which burns my grass everytime, nuthin worse then a guy that installs a chip and claims he has the baddest truck in the valley..
i also know i can take a Duramax and be just as fast.

I notice Cummins does not have alot of top end however the Duramax and 6.0's and 6.4's do.

Nice kill. EFIlive is nasty.

Haha, come on now, can you really blame a Dodge guy for having a "big head?" I mean, its almost warranted. Ill not get into the dominance the Dodge/Cummins has had, and continues to have, but come on. If yall had a Cummins under the hood, youd be damn glad you did...

Cum a part? are you kidding me? Itll be a cold day in hell when a PSD or DMax can hold 1000+ on stock internals...

Nice kill. Not all Dodges (or any diesel for that matter) with loud exhaust are fast. Ill give respect because it was a Duramax that did the walking, and we all know those can be pretty bad too.

If it was a PSD claiming, Id wave BS

(hopefully the SLIGHT bit of sarcasm can be felt here Im just givin yall chit)

See how long a cummins holds on 1000+ plus.

Once you pass a certain level even the Cummins becomes unreliable.

I could care less if anyone thinks the Cummins is better than powerstroke...Bottom line is I would rathe rhave a Ford so I can have a nice solid truck that drives straight and everthing stays together and doesnt rattle. Its nice to have a transmission that holds power so we dont have to fork out 5 grang just to hold the power a chip gives. Dont get me wrong I like cummins but I would NEVER NEVER EVER buy a dodge soley based on the fact that the truck itself is a piece of sh!t. the only way to go
