Race

I figured that I would come to the source for info. I have a guy that I work with that thinks his 2008 powerstroke will beat my 2008 duramax. I am not looking for arguments I am looking for honest opinions. We both have the same truck ¾ ton auto diesel fully loaded. We have both had our trucks on the same dyno and my numbers are in my sig and his are just slightly lower. Both or our trucks are stock. Who do you think will win? I think it will be a close race but I feel that I will come out on top just because of the little extra power and a few hundred less LBS. Let me know what you think.

Martin

MOD'S if this is the wrong place to post this I am sorry and would you please move it for me?

Thanks
Martin

I have seen Matt from Spartan Diesel on the track (not in person, a video), and that truck was fast as h*ll. I know the 08 d-max is fast too, I use to drive one for work. It's always a weight thing from what I've seen, so if his body configuration is the same and weight isn't too big of a diff, I think it would be a close race. Let us know how it turns out.

PS Matts truck is far from stock

I have herd of Matt's truck. I would love to see it and Jasons 08 go head to head. Jasons is far from stock too. I have not seen in in person yet but the MPI twins sure loook sweet in the pictures.

I think the PSD's sequential turbos will be the deciding factor over the dmax's single vgt. It did increase the 08' 0-60 time by over a second over the 07's. Different engine I know, but it had to count for something.

I think they are pretty evenly matched trucks as far as a drag race goes. Its gonna come down to who can drive there truck to its potental
