Well we are going to have to wait to spring to find out. I will not street race and the track is closed until April. I cant wait for the race it is really going to be a good one.

I will see if I can get the dyno slip scaned and posted for my truck.

08 6.4's run mid 16's in stock trim. The LMM should win it.

This is harleyultra's truck. Bone stock ran a 16.6 on his first ever race and a 16.3 later.

In this video he launched a full 1.4 seconds before I did and my sixty foot was a 1.9 (I typically run 1.7's/1.8's)

6.4's come alive with tuning, very capable of being as fast as my truck in this video with just a tuner and some spray. If he gets a hold of a tuner, you'll be shelling out some serious doe for a trans to keep up.

I agree stock/stock it will be close. But I have ran a stock 6.4L and walked him. Plus ran (What I think/thought) was a stock Duramax and he kept up a little better.
So I would say very very close with the duramax taking the lead.

I agree. I have never drove an 08 duramax but my buddy has one and I ride in it a bunch, 2500. I have drove a 08 powerstroke once, but it was my works F-550 flatbed so its not really compariable. The 6.4 had power all the way throught the rpm range and honestly I was more impressed with the 6.4 then the duramax. I might be alittle biased tho

1.9 60' with a 8.4 1/8 mile.

I lost at least 4 tenths right there since the truck won't do a boosted launch or shift into 2nd gear in 4wd @ wot.

Still trapped 103.6 and that was with a very lean bottle, a small jet, and a leaky line. It was running 100-101 fuel only all day with 2.2 and 2.3 sixty's and a blinking O/D light.

Should have it corrected for my next pass with full bottles and 1,000 psi
